Overview and Outcomes

This virtual professional learning course provides an overview of the web accessibility legislation intent to provide all users on the web equal access to information and functionality on the web. Organizations are required to adhere to different laws across the world to ensure that people with disabilities have access.

Participants will engage in a video lecture consisting of three modules: Legal Obligations, Accessible PowerPoint Presentations, and Closed Captions and Video/Audio Transcript. The video lecture includes 1 quiz, 1 survey, and a variety of resources. The survey must be completed at the end of the video lecture for participants to obtain a certificate of completion.

This course should take you approximately three hours to complete.
