Immediate Crisis (Risk of Harm)

Call 911

If there is an immediate risk of harm to yourself or others, call 911 right away.

When speaking with the dispatcher, clearly explain that the situation is a mental health emergency. If possible, request responders who have Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training. CIT-trained responders have special training to support individuals experiencing mental health crises.


Non-Immediate Crisis (Support Without Immediate Danger)
