Student Data Management & Reports

The Desert Mountain SELPA and Charter SELPA collaborate with member local education agencies (LEAs) to ensure special education data is reported accurately and on time, as required by state and federal law. Together, the SELPAs use the Special Education Information System (SEIS)—a secure online platform for managing and tracking Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). SEIS works in coordination with the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS) to submit required data to the California Department of Education (CDE). These systems, along with other reporting tools, help ensure that students with disabilities receive the services and supports they are entitled to.

CAHELP provides hands-on training, instructional videos, and Questions & Answers (Q&A) sessions are also available to help member local education agency (LEA) staff navigate SEIS and meet reporting requirements. Technical support is available for all Desert Mountain SELPA and Charter SELPA members.
