Autism Supports at CAHELP: At CAHELP we recognize that every individual with autism is unique. With this in mind, we strive to connect families, educators, and community members with trainings, resources, and collaborative supports to help students thrive while including the voice of the autism community. To honor all voices within this community we use both the infinity symbol and puzzle piece throughout as both representations speak to different members of the community. Additionally, we reference both “person first” and “identity first” language as both are used equally throughout the autistic community as well.

The SELPA Autism Implementation Team (SAIT) leads this work across CAHELP, offering professional learning and guidance to strengthen autism supports in schools and communities. We look forward to connecting with you and supporting your autism specific goals.
