Parent Resources

Available Resources

Resources and information are made available on our website that support parents of children with disabilities with navigating the individualized education program (IEP) process, and the procedures for the identification, location, and evaluation of children who may require special education services. Our organization works closely with our member participating school districts and charter schools (also known as local education agencies) and agencies such as Inland Regional Center (IRC), Head Start, California Children's Center (CCS), Department of Behavioral Health (DBH), and others, as appropriate, in the identification of children with disabilities. Additional information about special education can also be obtained by contacting your local school district special education office.

It is our philosophy that all children with disabilities shall be provided a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE). We hope the resources on our site will offer some assistance in understanding state and federal requirements as they relate to the provision of special education and related services for eligible children.
