The Orton Gillingham (OG) approach has existed since the 1930’s. The Academy of Orton Gillingham (AOG) is an accrediting
and certifying body dedicated to upholding the highest professional and ethical standards for the practice of the Orton-Gillingham
(OG) Approach. The Institute of Multi-sensory Education (IMSE) is a curriculum built around the OG approach. Come ready
to compare and contrast the similarities and differences of AOG and IMSE and be prepared to discuss how to implement both.
